BREAKFAST
Monday: pancake on a stick or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: Little Smokies and Texas toast with jelly or cereal and graham cookie.
Wednesday: frosted long john and mozzarella cheese stick or cereal and graham cookie.
Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: cereal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: chicken patty on a bun, fries, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: corn dog, cheesy broccoli, strawberries, yogurt.
Wednesday: burrito, nacho chips, cheese sauce, tossed salad, banana.
Thursday: chicken nuggets, dinner roll, cheesy potatoes, corn, peach half
Friday: spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic French bread, green beans, applesauce.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, spinach salad, wheat bread, peaches.
Tuesday: sloppy joe on a bun, potato salad, peas, pineapple upside down cake.
Wednesday: pork roast, candied sweet potatoes, tossed salad, wheat roll, fruited yogurt.
Thursday: beef lasagna, Italian vegetables, Texas toast, strawberries and banana.
Friday: white chili, broccoli salad, crackers, pumpkin fluff.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: vegetable soup, meat-salad sandwich, crackers, fruit, cookie.
Tuesday: chuckwagon steak, au gratin potatoes, carrots, bread, apricots.
Wednesday: chicken alfredo, spaghetti noodles, green beans, garlic bread, Watergate salad.
Thursday: pork roast, candied sweet potatoes, peas, peaches, bread pudding.
Friday: cook’s choice.
