USD 386 school board
The USD 386 board of education meeting will be held Monday, Jan. 12, at the Board of Education Office in Madison.
The agenda includes additions and approval of agenda; communications; examination and approval of current accounts payable, activity fund reports, treasurer’s report; public forum; senior class trip; student request to Flint Hills Technical College; fire alarm system; site council reports, administrative reports; executive sessions; adjournment.
Neosho Rapids council
The regular monthly City of Neosho Rapids council meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 in the community building.
The agenda includes discussion for the future of the city gas system; seasonal bids for mowing and cleaning of the city park will be opened, reviewed and selected for the 2009 season; discussion for work days to clear trees to prepare for the sewer project; updates on the sewer project. The public is encouraged to attend.
