Epiphany service
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Ninth Avenue and Commercial Street, will celebrate the Epiphany with a Eucharist at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The holiday, which represents the arrival of the Magi to worship the newborn Jesus, includes the placement of the figures of the Wise Men in the Christmas crèche. A covered-dish dinner after the service will include the traditional Epiphany cake, which contains tokens that determine the “king” and “queen” of the feast, as well as the finders’ futures in the year ahead.
