ESU men get blown out by Southwest Baptist

Final
No. 3 Southwest Baptist gave Emporia State its worst loss of the season on Saturday at White Auditorium, 104-69.
The Bearcats shot 56.7 percent and made 14-of-24 3-pointers, while the Hornets shot 39 percent and made just 6-of-14 from beyond the arc.
Lamar Wilbern led Emporia State with 21 points and Dustin Andrews scored a career-high 13.
The Hornets fall to 4-2 in the MIAA, dropping out of second place and into a tie for third with Washburn.

No. 3 Southwest Baptist is living up to its ranking in the first half at White Auditorium.
The Bearcats lead the Hornets 51-30. The first half was played at a rapid pace, which favored the Bearcats, who played 12 players in the first half.
Lamar Wilbern leads ESU with 11 points, but he’s only 5-for-14 from the field. The Hornets have held MIAA leading scorer Matt Rogers to two points, but the Bearcats have two scorers in double figures, Nick Kovacevich with 11 points and Johnnie Harris with 10.
