BREAKFAST
Monday: pancake on a stick or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: Little Smokies and Texas toast with jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: frosted long john and mozzarella cheese stick or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: pizza or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: cereal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: cheeseburger on a bun, fries, baby carrots and dip, mandarin oranges.
Tuesday: crispitos, nacho chips, cheese sauce, tossed salad, banana.
Wednesday: cheese pizza, tossed salad, strawberries, vanilla wafers.
Thursday: chicken strips, fries, dinner roll, corn, peach half.
Friday: fish sandwich, cinnamon roll, green beans, applesauce.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: sloppy joe on a bun, potato salad, peas, peaches.
Tuesday: salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, spinach salad, wheat bread, pineapple and mango.
Wednesday: pork roast or fish, candied sweet potatoes, tossed salad, wheat roll, fruited yogurt.
Thursday: white chili, broccoli salad, crackers, pumpkin fluff.
Friday: fish, macaroni and cheese, Venetian-blend vegetables, wheat bread, orange.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: beef and noodles, carrots, biscuits, pear-cheese salad.
Tuesday: turkey and bread dressing with gravy, green bean casserole, hot roll, tropical fruit.
Wednesday: ribette on a bun, hashbrown casserole, corn, fruited pudding.
Thursday: chicken-fried chicken, noodles romanoff, Scandanavian-blend vegetables, hot roll, strawberry delight.
Friday: goulash, beets, garlic bread, cinnamon apples.
