ESU baseball loses series at Regis

The Emporia State baseball team split a double-header on Sunday at Regis, losing the three-game series.
The Rangers took the first game 10-2, while the Hornets rebounded to take the second game 10-9.
In Game One, Andy Cotton got the only RBI of the game for the Hornets. Regis pulled ahead early, scoring seven runs in the first three innings. Ben Graham pitched five innings for ESU, striking out two.
In Game Two, ESU jumped out to a 2-1 lead early, but trailed 9-3 heading into the fifth inning after Regis had an 8-run fourth. ESU rebounded by scoring three runs in the sixth and four in the seventh to earn the win.
