BREAKFAST
Monday: sausage biscuit with jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: powdered funnel cake or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: Little Piggy or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: pizza or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: hot ham and cheese on a bun, tater tots, broccoli, pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday: chicken fajita, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, applesauce.
Wednesday: country steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, dinner roll, pear half.
Thursday: chicken parmesan, tri taters, garlic biscuit, green beans, orange smiles.
Friday: Bosco sticks, marinara sauce, tossed salad, tropical fruit, cake.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: Closed for Presidents Day.
Tuesday: Swiss steak, au gratin potatoes, carrots, roll, fruit cocktail.
Wednesday: chicken-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, wheat roll, cake, ice cream.
Thursday: chili, coleslaw, crackers, cinnamon roll.
Friday: beef lasagna, Italian vegetables, Texas toast, strawberries and banana.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: baked fish and macaroni and cheese, Italian-blend vegetables, bread, applesauce.
Tuesday: hamburger steak, party potatoes, seasoned green beans, bread, cake with icing.
Wednesday: oven-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas, hot roll, apricots.
Thursday: potato soup, meat-salad sandwich, lettuce salad, crackers, sherbet.
Friday: biscuits with sausage gravy, tater triangles, V-8 juice, peach cup.
