The name of Emporia Middle School assistant principal Brian Pekarek is among those listed under staff resignations on the Emporia board of education agenda for its meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Emporia High School Library, 3302 W. 18th Ave.
Pekarek reportedly has accepted a job as superintendent of schools in another district.
Other items on the agenda include a curriculum report on SuccessMaker and consideration of an energy audit and the quarterly budget report.
An executive session has been scheduled to discuss a personnel matter.
Before the board meeting, members will have their annual dinner discussion with the EHS Student Council at 5 p.m. at EHS.
