Bi-Annual garage sale

Bi-Annual garage sale

The First United Methodist Church will have the bi-annual garage sale from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Proceeds will benefit local and regional missions.

WRERR garage sale

The Winding Road Equine Rescue and Retirement organization will have a garage sale, entitled “For the Love of Horses,” beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday in the garage at 1046 Sunrise Drive. Items include quality clothes, purses, books, antiques, collectibles, furniture, exercise equipment and items for infants. There also will be handcrafted and one-of-a-kind Valentines, most of which will feature actual rescued horses. Volunteers will be available with information about the rescue ranch. Penny Supper

The Hartford United Methodist Women will serve a Penny Supper, beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday at the church. Foods served will be ham loaf, $1.75; chicken pie, $1.50; minute steak, $2; a variety of vegetables and salads, 50 cents each; homemade pies, $1.25 a slice; ice cream, 75 cents; along with other side dishes and beverages.

Ground Hog Day

Pancake Feed

The Neosho Valley 4-H Club will have a Ground Hog Day Pancake Feed, starting at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the old gymnasium in Dunlap. Proceeds will be used to help 4-H projects.

Bad Ol’ Bern’s Ross fundraiser

Bad Ol’ Bern’s restaurant, 20 Commercial St., will donate a portion of proceeds all day Monday to Mike and Vicki Ross. The Rosses and their two young sons lost everything when their home in Americus burned down Jan. 29. The restaurant is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
