Most Wanted

The Emporia Gazette and law enforcement officials are asking for assistance in locating a wanted person.
James Dean Bickerstaff is being sought by law enforcement officials on a warrant issued for Bond Violation, original offense: obtain prescription by fraud, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine.
Bickerstaff is a white man, 24 years old, 6-feet-2-inches tall, 215 pounds with red hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo on his left arm of praying hands and the words “Lord Forgive” and a tattoo on his right arm of the word “Jessica.”
The public should not make any attempt to apprehend or detain the above listed person. If you have information as to the location of the above listed person please call Crime Stoppers at 342-2273 or 1-800 KS Crime (1-800-572-7463) if you wish to remain anonymous. Otherwise, call the Emporia Police Department at 343-4200 or the Lyon County Sheriff Department at 342-5545.

I like the part where we're not supposed to try to detain this guy! Yeah, I'm going to tackle a 6'2" 215 pound criminal. Ha ha ha. I needed a chuckle.

Sounds like all of you that are "all in the family" need to be aware there is a felony called "aiding and abetting". This means that if you are withholding information or hiding this guy out you can be charged with a crime. Just FYI in case you don't care to find yourself in his shoes.

I'm not sure what you're talking about but I know who this dudes brother is and know he could give him some good advice to turn his life around. If James would have followed the same path as his brother we would not be seeing him in the paper for this.
