ESU women blow out Central Missouri

Final

The Emporia State women won their eighth straight on Wednesday night, beating Central Missouri 93-69.

Cassondra Boston scored 20 points; Andrea Leiker scored 15 and Sophia Lenard added 14.

The Lady Hornets improved to 19-2 overall and 13-1 in the MIAA, remaining in first place by two games.

Half

The Emporia State women held Central Missouri to 27.6 percent shooting and forced 15 turnovers in the first half and lead 40-29 at half.

Ida Edwards and Cassondra Boston both scored eight points, and Sophia Lenard added seven.

The Lady Hornets led 34-14, and Central Missouri closed the half on a 15-6 run.
