Because of weather conditions, Monday’s H1N1 clinic will move locations. The clinic will be from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Lyon County Health Department, 420 W. 15th Ave. All individuals ages 6 months and above may receive the H1N1 vaccine.
This is only a H1N1 vaccine clinic. No seasonal influenza vaccinations will be administered during this clinic. Those wishing to receive the vaccine are encouraged to dress warmly in case the line extends outdoors. The vaccination is free.
In addition, the Public Health Department will only be open from 8 a.m. until noon on Monday. Beginning Jan. 7 through Jan. 14, the department will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays to complete the second round of H1N1 vaccinations in schools.
To have children vaccinated for the second round, the clinic staff will need new H1N1 consent forms singed for anyone wishing to be vaccinated. The forms can be obtained at www.flinthillshealth.org.
