Graduates
Michael Garrett of Emporia received an associate’s degree in electric power and distribution from Manhattan Area Technical College during the spring commencement exercises held Dec. 12 at McCain Auditorium in Manhattan.
Andrea Mitchell of Emporia received an associate’s degree from Newman University in Wichita in occupational therapy assistance. The fall 2009 commencement ceremony was held Dec. 12 at Central Community Church.
Russel K. Stukey of Burlington, employed by Coffey County, is a graduate of the University of Kansas Certified Public Managers Program. The ceremony was held Dec. 4 at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Topeka. The Certified Public Managers Program leads to a nationally recognized certificate of management excellence, stated the news release.
