Save our school

I’m SO concerned, about USD 251! I have two children in our small school district, we are about to lose our school in my small town of Admire! Due to recent cuts in education the school board has recommended that Admire’s grade school close. Which means my children will be bused to Reading 21 miles away until 5 grade, then my children will be separated, my son going to Americus 20 miles in a different direction until high school then he’ll go to Northern Heights High School and my daughter will be in Americus.
I don’t think closing Admire is a reasonable solution. Admire’s school is far bigger than Reading’s, and there would be buses crossing each other transporting student’s. The bottom line is USD 251 needs about $600,000 to keep our schools. My main concern is my children’s education, bigger
classrooms mean less personal attention. This change will adversely affect our teachers giving them more responsibility, when they already have so much! I want to see ALL the schools remain opened. Please get involved!
Closing Admire is going to negatively affect the education of the entire student’s in USD 251! What can we do to save our schools?!
