Bingo Night
The Neosho Rapids Community Projects Committee and Lions Club are sponsoring a Bingo Night from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Neosho Rapids Community Center. For more information, call Bettina at (620) 366-1015 after 5 p.m.
Public access computers
The Emporia Public Library’s public access computers will be unavailable on Wednesday (Dec.16). The library will be installing and conducting training on a new computer management software on this date. For more information, call adult services coordinator Lynette Olson at 340-6451.
All God’s Children group
The Olpe after school All God’s Children group will present a non-denominational Christmas program, “The Good News Christmas Cruise,” created by Jimmy Travis Getzen and Gail Getzen on Dec. 15, beginning with a free soup supper at 5:45 p.m. and the program at 6:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Olpe. People are invited to “come take a cruise with us where we are taking a bell to a mission church, rescue four people at sea and present a Christmas program, ‘The Promise,’ to the island people.” Cookies and punch will be served after the program.
