Area games postponed

All area basketball games scheduled for Tuesday were postponed and rescheduled because of weather.
Olpe’s girls/boys home games against Lyndon were rescheduled for Dec. 22. The Lebo-Hartford games scheduled for Tuesday at Hartford will be made up on Jan. 18. Madison’s trip to Flinthills was re-slated for Jan. 22, and Chase County’s home games against Wabaunsee will now be held on Jan. 26.
The Herington Preseason Tournament, which includes Northern Heights, will now start Thursday, and pool play continues Friday and Saturday. The Heights girls play Herington on Thursday at 6:45 p.m., and the same two schools’ boys squads will play at 8:15 p.m. The Heights girls and boys teams will play Centre on Friday at the same two times, but won’t play Saturday. The tournament will conclude with bracket play on Dec. 17.
