Eric Soto, 21, was arrested after he fled from Emporia police officers Saturday evening.
According to a press release from Lt. John Koelsch of the Emporia Police Department, at 10:49 p.m. on Saturday Emporia police officers noticed a subject known to have outstanding warrants for his arrest traveling along 12th Avenue near Mechanic Street. Officers Dunn and Eubank attempted to stop the vehicle when the driver of the vehicle accelerated and fled. Officers pursued the vehicle until the driver of the vehicle lost control and struck a curb in the 3600 block of 18th Avenue near Chapel Ridge apartments. The suspect then fled on foot and K-9 officer Delgado and K-9 Arco continued to track him and located him a block of where he fled the vehicle. Soto was taken into custody and taken to the Lyon County Jail on outstanding warrants as well as fleeing law enforcement officers and pending drug paraphernalia charges.

I dunno...looks to me like Eric is the joke. Arrest warrants...drug paraphenalia...fleeing law enforcement (and endangering the lives of anyone unlucky enough to be in his path).
This guy needs to be in jail.
