From blown glass to knitted items, shoppers can find it all in one place with the opening of an artist, crafter and home-based business cooperative that has opened for the holidays at 1122 Commercial St.
Local resident Erin Woods, who creates crocheted crafts, was looking for a place to sell her items for the holidays. She also knew other people with home-based businesses. Within a couple of weeks, the idea fell together, and the store opened up at 1122 Commercial St., next to Wheat State Pizza. More than 10 artists, crafters and home-based business owners have come together to form the holiday shop. The store could be open long-term, Woods said.
