A middle-level chapter of Future Business Leaders of America has been formed in North Lyon County.
Kim Dhority, teacher at Northern Heights High School, said Jessica Dhority, Northern Heights FBLA Chapter President and Justin Richardson, Northern Heights FBLA Chapter vice-president; visited the three North Lyon County middle schools and talked to the students about FBLA.
“From there the membership drive was on,” Kim Dhority said in an e-mail. “FBLA-Middle Level is the fastest growing division at the national level. With more than 14,000 members nationwide, FBLA has exploded at junior high and middle schools. Members participate in a variety of activities, including job shadow programs, community service projects and American enterprise projects.”
