A common catch phrase we are hearing a lot these days is “shake the salt habit” — easy to say, much harder to do.
Table salt is made of two major components, chloride and sodium. Always check the ingredient labels and watch for the word “sodium” as well as “salt.” Several forms of sodium are used in the processing of our food and can cause health issues.
