Girl Scout campout

The 25th annual Girl Scouts Mother-Daughter Campout will be held Oct. 2 through 4 at Camp Wood in Elmdale. Daughters and mothers (or other female adult role models) will take part in events which include archery, climbing, s’mores and a flashlight hike.
The check-in for the Daisy and Brownie Camp begins at 6 p.m. Oct. 2 (no supper provided). Camp ends at noon Oct. 3. The check-in for the Junior through Ambassador Camp begins at 1 p.m. Oct. 3. Camp ends at noon Oct. 4.

Events.” The reservation deadlline is Sept. 18 (no late reservations accepted) and one must be a registered Girl Scout to attend. Short-sleeved shirts are $10 and long-sleeved, $15. All shirts must be pre-ordered; no shirts will be available for purchase at the camp.
