NO WORDS CAN express the gratitude we have in our hearts for the Love and Kindness that you all gave this family at the time of the loss of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandpa, “Pete Pykiet.”
Many thanks for all the cards, food, flowers and phone calls.
A special thank you to American Legion Post 5 and V.F.W. Post 1980 for the military service. Also, thanks to Sally Anderson, Judy’s friend, Melanie Waters for her care giving and personal touch with Dad, Nikki Plankinton, keeping his house, all who were involved with the funeral dinner and Pastor Kim Benson for all of her support and the lovely celebration service of his life here on earth. To William at Roberts-Blue Funeral Home for helping so much to get things done at such a difficult time. Last of all, to Ernie, for being such a good paper carrier, seeing that Dad’s Emporia Gazette was always easily accessible for him.
