The Coffey County Republican reported that Central National Bank in Burlington discovered two fake $100 bills last week, one in a deposit made by a Dollar General Store in Burlington. It is unknown exactly where the other bill originated from. There were irregular cuts on the edges and the watermark could be seen without holding it up to the light.
