The opening of the Emporia Arts Council 2009-2010 Performance Season begins with “1964 ... The Tribute” at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 10 in Albert Taylor Hall on the ESU campus. This event will be a celebration “of the original Beatles American invasion as they appeared on Feb. 12, 1964, at Carnegie Hall” — “1964 ... The Tribute” is the “best Beatles tribute band on earth,” according to Rolling Stone Magazine, stated the news release. For more information, call 340-6475.
