Teachers’ salaries are on the agenda for approval during the board of education meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Mary Herbert Education Center.
The board also is scheduled to hear a report from Custom Energy, which has conducted an extensive study of all district buildings and will present its energy-saving recommendations on Wednesday.
The agenda also includes approval of two donations from the Clint Bowyer 79 Fund, administered through the Emporia Community Foundation. Bowyer is donating school supplies and a pool-timing system for Emporia High School.
An agreement with Kansas State University for Project MERIT and a grant from the Bureau of Waste Management also are on the agenda for Wednesday’s meeting.
