Girl Scout and Boy Scout reps to visit area

Girl Scout and Boy Scout representatives will be in Emporia and communities across the state from Monday through Aug. 29 to tell about the benefits of scouting and make registration convenient for parents. Scout volunteers and/or staff will be available to answer questions and assist with registration at 7 p.m. Thursday at Logan Avenue Elementary, Lowther Intermediate School, Riverside Elementary, Sacred Heart School, Timmerman Elementary, Village Elementary, Walnut Elementary (featuring a luau and crafts and games for girls), William Allen White Elementary schools.
