Emporia Schools
BREAKFAST
Monday: Pancake minis or cereal and graham cookies, juice, milk.
Tuesday: Sausage biscuit/jelly or cereal and graham cookies, juice, milk.
Wednesday: Danish or cereal and graham cookies, juice, milk.
Thursday: Pizza or cereal and graham cookies, juice, milk.
Friday: Yogurt and muffin or cereal and graham cookies, juice, milk.
LUNCH
Monday: Hot ham/cheese/bun, tater tots, fresh brocolli/dip, fresh grapes, chocolate pudding, milk.
Tuesday: Pizza, tossed salad, banana, bosco apple stick, milk.
Wednesday: Crispitos, nacho chips, cheese sauce, Mexican salsa, applesauce, oatmeal cookie, milk.
Thursday: Turkey fritter, wheat dinner roll, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, diced peaches, milk.
Friday: Chicken parmesan, cheesy potatoes, garlic biscuit, green beans, orange smiles, milk.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes/gravy, peas, bread, fruit.
Tuesday: Ham loaf, scalloped potatoes, green beans, bread, watermelon.
Wednesday: Creamed turkey, herbed tomato bake, biscuit, Jello with fruit.
Thursday: Lasagna, salad, break, pineapple upside down cake.
Friday: Chicken and rice casserole, California blend, biscuit, rainbow fruit salad, pudding.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414.
Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Swiss steak, baked potato, peas, bread, apricots.
Tuesday: Fish/bun, pasta verde salad, strawberries with topping, cookie.
Wednesday: Ham loaf, scalloped potatoes, green beans, bread, pears.
Thursday: Chicken fried steak, potatoes/gravy, pickled beets, hot roll, cinnamon apples.
Friday: BBQ chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, bread, oranges.
