Kansas high school teachers from several cities, including Cottonwood Falls, attended the Kansas State University Camp Shakespeare this summer. The weeklong course taught teachers new techniques to bring Shakespeare to their students.
Some of the information that teachers learned included Elizabethan-era insults, the rhythm of the language, different translations of Shakespeare’s work and overcoming the idea that Shakespeare is too difficult for high school students.
