The Happy Harvesters met Aug. 10 at the fairgrounds after fair clean-up, with the meeting called to order by Linden Stueve. Wylie Redeker and Devin Arndt led the flag salute and 4-H pledge. The roll call, “Which fair project taught you the most?,” was answered by 30 members, 17 adults and three leaders.
Club leader Diana Windle said the club gained $695.80 in ticket sales and were second overall. Club leader Marilyn Stueve and Windle gave instructions about record and officer books. Fair premium checks were distributed.
The outgoing seniors are Mark Windle and Jake Miller, who each will receive a scholarship from the club.
In new business, the club decided to give $30 to each 4-H member who went to 4-H camp. It was announced that all pictures for the historian’s book were needed as soon as possible.
The meeting was adjourned and members had a Sonic party.
