Tuesday: little smokies and Texas toast/jelly or cereal and graham cookies, juice, milk.
Wednesday: Blueberry bagel/jelly or cereal and graham cookies, juice,milk.
Thursday: Breakfast burrito or cereal and graham cookies, juice, milk.
Friday: Frosted long John and mozzarella cheese stick or cereal and graham cookies, juice, milk.
LUNCH
Monday: Cheeseburger/bun, sweet potato fries, tossed salad, Mandarin oranges, Rice Krispy treat, milk.
Tuesday: Bosco sticks, marinara sauce, seasoned peas, baby carrots and dip, tropical fruit, milk.
Wednesday: Barbecued ribette/bun, tri tater, broccoli with cheese, cherry crisp, milk.
Thursday: Chicken nuggets, wheat dinner roll, cheesey potato, corn, strawberry/banana cup, milk.
Friday: Chili, Frito corn chips, cinnamon roll, green beans, applesauce, milk.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Meatballs, gravvy, mashed potatoes, corn, bread, Watergate salad.
Tuesday: Baked chicken, potato salad, carrot-raisin salad, roll, honey dew melon.
Wednesday: Pork roast, au gratin potatoes, zucchini, roll, cake and ice cream.
Thursday: Tuna-noodle casserole, broccoli and everything salad, bread, pudding
Friday: Sweet and sour chicken, rice, italian blend, bread, fruit cobbler.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414.
Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, peaches.
Tuesday: pork roast, au gratin potatoes, Italian blend, hot roll, melon cup.
Wednesday: sausage gravy, biscuits, hash browns, orange juice, pears.
Thursday: spaghetti w/meatballs, tossed salad, garlic bread, cherry cobbler.
Friday: chicken-fried chicken, potatoes, gravy, corn, hot roll, apples.
