Applications will be accepted until Aug. 17 for the 22nd Class of Leadership Emporia.
Applications to fill out are available at www.emporiakschamber.org and at the Chamber office, 719 Commercial St.
Nominations for the class may be made by calling the Chamber, 342-1600.
Leadership Emporia, established in 1988, was designed as an educational program to nurture and enhance the leadership skills of individuals from all segments of the community who wish to become involved in shaping the area’s future, a Chamber news release stated.
Tuition is $300 and may be paid by the participant or a sponsoring organization. Tuition must be paid in full before the first session on Sept. 17 and is non-refundable. The fee includes all program costs, meals and refreshments associated with the sessions.
A maximum of three $100 scholarships will be awarded from the Chamber. Leadership Emporia Alumni Association also provides a scholarship.
