Pooch Plunge

Before the Jones Aquatic Center closes for good this season, the pool will go to the dogs Saturday with the annual Pooch Plunge. The Pooch Plunge will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the aquatic center. The cost is $7 if pre-registered through the Emporia Recreation Commission and $10 at the door. There will be many activities at the plunge including a talent show, microchipping and give-aways. Microchips are $25 and may be obtained by cash and check only. The event is sponsored by the Emporia Recreation Commission with proceeds benefiting the H. Dale Buck Fund.
