Emporia city commissioners will set a time and date to take bids for general contracting services for repairs to Fire Station 2 at their regular action meeting at 1:30 Wednesday in the City Commission/Municipal Court Room, 518 Mechanic St.
The commission will move to Conference Room 1 A and B following the meeting for a study session to review a revised second draft of the city’s 2010 general fund budget and a revised second draft of the multi-year fund.
Also on the agenda for Wednesday’s action meeting:
- Approve payment to SOS from domestic violence funds.
- Proclamation honoring Jerry Zorn for 15 years of service.
- Set bid time and date for concession services at White Arena.
- Award bid for 2009 KLINK project.
- Award bid for 2009-A general obligation bonds and Series 2009-A temporary notes.
- Adopt ordinance authorizing the issuance and delivery of Series 2009-A general obligation bonds in the amount of $770,000.
- Approve resolution prescribing the forms and details of Series 2009-A general obligation bonds in the amount of $1.175 million.
- Approve resolution authorizing the 2009-A temporary notes and prescribing the form and details of the notes.
- Adopt ordinance adopting the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
