Once in awhile a person comes along that really makes an impact on our lives.
Several weeks ago it seemed like the sun was just a little dimmer in Lyon County. No, it was not the weather. A very special man by the name of Ralph Jones was no longer with us. Those of us who were lucky enough to call him friend will never forget him. Ralph was a man who always looked for the best in everything. His cup was always full.
He did so much for so many.
The world would be a better place if there were more Ralph Joneses. He always offered words of kindness and encouragement to others.
Just recently when he was ill, he still took time to write a young coach and congratulate him on a job well done.
There is an old saying, “behind every great man is a very ‘special and beautiful’ lady.” Ralph would be the first to tell you this.
