The First Church of the Nazarene, 2931 W. 24th Ave., north of Walmart, will be the site for “Emporia’s Original Indian Taco Feed” from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Carry-out is available. The meal, Indian taco, beverage and dessert, costs $4.50 for adults and $3 for children under 10 years. Proceeds will be used to contribute to scholarship money to send children in first grade through sixth grade to the Wheat State Children’s Camp, where they will “enjoy a week of activities, such as archery, swimming, mini golf, arts and crafts, Bible study, learning about missions, along with team-building activities with daily chapel times,” stated the press release.
