Southern Lyon board
The Southern Lyon County Board of Education has two meetings scheduled next week. The board will meet at 5 p.m. Monday at the board office in Hartford. The agenda includes an executive session for interviews for Olpe Junior/Senior High School principal, negotiations and facilities.
At 5 p.m. Tuesday, the board will meet again at the office in Hartford.
The agenda for that meeting includes the topics from Monday’s meeting, a presentation by the Greenbush Energy Group and summer projects.
City study session
Beer garden rules and an agreement about Jones Aquatic Center operations are among the agenda items for a city commission study session at 9 a.m. Wednesday in city conference room 1AB, 516 Merchant St.
The commission also will review the first draft of the 2010-2014 Capital Improvement Plan, a possible cost-of-living adjustment for the 2010 budget, and lighting options and prices for parking lots at Sixth Avenue and Merchant Street and Seventh Avenue and Merchant Streets.
