Tuesday was a beautiful day to walk and play in the sun, which made it a perfect day for “Laps 4 Landon,” a cystic fibrosis fundraiser at Emporia State University’s Welch Stadium.
The event is named for 2-year-old Landon Dody, who has the disorder. Landon was one of the children playing on the field while their parents, ESU students and others walks laps on the track.
Student athletes from ESU ran games and played with the children.
Money raised at the event will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Landon’s name.
