Monday: sausage biscuit and jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: cereal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: powdered funnel cake or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: cereal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: hot ham and cheese sandwich on a bun, tater tots, broccoli, pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday: Bosco sticks, marinara sauce, tossed salad, tropical fruit, cookie.
Wednesday: chicken fajita, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: country steak, dinner roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, pear half.
Friday: chicken parmesan, tri taters, cinnamon roll, green beans, orange smiles.
Juice and milk are served with breakfast; milk is served with lunch.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: oven-fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli, bread, Waldorf salad.
Tuesday: pasta, beef and tomato casserole lettuce and tomato with dressing, wheat bread, strawberry shortcake.
Wednesday: turkey and noodles, herb tomato, wheat roll, fluffy fruit salad.
Thursday: pork roast, boiled potato and gravy, green beans, wheat bread, peaches.
Friday: chuck wagon steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, spinach, wheat bread, apricots.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
