CloverLeaf 4-H Club
“Having fun with a purpose” is the slogan of the Cloverleaf 4-H Club. To make the work fun, area schools and events are on the agenda of most members. Jamie Schmidt and Larkin Bennett attended the southeast area Wichita Spring Garden Show March 7 to prepare for their summer projects of gardening and horticulture.
A Swine and Goat Clinic was held in Manhattan recently. Attendance for the goat clinic was attended by Tyler Pedersen, Lane Fuller, Logan Fuller and Cai Ast. Those attending the Swine Clinic included Tyler and Kyle Pedersen.
For upcoming camps 4-hers will submit applications for aid in the costs, following the guidelines, to be approved.
Photography leader Todd Megredy encouraged attendance at the photography school in Auburn on March 15. The club has ten members enrolled in the photography project.
Fun things are scheduled for the summer months that include an educational tour coordinated by the Moyer and Decker families. The club project tour will be in July.
The monthly canned or dry food collection challenge for the Salvation Army goes on through September. The Orender, Pedersen and Fuller families are in charge.
All members “roll up their sleeves and pitch in” when community service jobs come our way.
