Tammy Vopat, Lyon County clerk, has released the advanced voting numbers. There were a total of 1, 108 advanced votes cast with 984 of those cast at the Lyon County Courthouse and 124 cast at local senior care facilities.
General voting is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

It doesn't matter if they are yes or no votes, Thank God there was what I think may be a record # of advanced voters in any city election held in Emporia so far.
We just want the vote.
So please one way or the other please take 10 minutes out of your day Tuesday and vote.
