Emporia residents Greg Bachman, Ted Hollembeak and George Milton all won tennis titles in their age groups at the 2008 Kansas senior Olympics in Topeka last week.
Bachman won gold in the 50-54 age group. Hollembeak won the 65-69 age group. Milton won the 70-74 age group in tennis and also won gold medals in singles and doubles badminton. Hollembeak and Milton also combined to win the gold in the 65-69 tennis doubles competition.
Bob Symmonds of Emporia won the gold medal in raquetball in the 60-64 age group.
The gold medalists will all compete in the 2008 national senior Olympics in 2009 in San Francisco.
