Monday: oatmeal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: biscuit and jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: powdered funnel cake or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: Oatmeal bar and muffin or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: hot dog on a bun, tater tots, broccoli, pineapple tidbits.
Tuesday: grilled cheese sandwich, tossed salad, tropical fruit, Rice Krispy treat.
Wednesday: beef taco, soft totilla, mexican rice, tossed salad, applesauce.
Thursday: turket fritter, dinner roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, pear half.
Friday: chicken parmesan, cheesy potatoes, dinner roll, green beans, orange smiles.
Breakfast is served with juice and milk, lunch is served with milk.
Friendship Meals
Emporia
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: chicken leg, creamed peas and potatoes, Brussel sprouts, wheat bread, plums.
Tuesday: stuffed potato with chicken and cheese sauce, mixed vegetables, wheat bread, rosy applesauce.
Wednesday: spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian vegetables, cherries, Texas toast, cheesecake.
Thursday: Salisbury steak, mashed potato and gravy, Scandinavian vegetables, wheat roll, pears.
Friday: Chili, coleslaw, crackers, cinnamon roll.
North Lyon County
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414; Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week.
Monday: ribette on a bun, carrots, baked beans, mixed fruit, sherbet.
Tuesday: chili with beans, crackers, cinnamon roll, tropical fruit salad.
Wednesday: baked chicken, potatoes/gravy, peas, bread, apricots, sing-a-long.
Thursday: hamburger steak, baked sweet potato, green beans, bread, pears.
Friday: tuna noodle casserole, lettuce with tomato, wheat bread, strawberries with topping.
