Water pressure
The Lyon County Rural Water District No. 3 will be painting the west water tower, which serves customers south and west of Olpe. The painting will start the first part of next week. Customers in that area may see a fluctuation of water pressure at different times of the day or night.
Apples for sale
Hetlinger Developmental Services, 707 S. Commercial St., still has apples for sale at a reduced price. The prices are: peck $6, half bushel $10 and bushel $16. For more information, stop by or call 342-1087.
Developmental screening
The annual Count Your Kid In will be on Oct. 10 at Maynard Early Childhood Center, 19 Constitution St. The purpose of the screening is to assess individuals from birth to 21 years old who may have potential for learning and development problems.
If there are concerns about a child’s walking, talking, seeing, hearing or learning, the screening could be beneficial. The screening is free and appointments are requested. For an appointment call 341-2326.
