Chad Wing, 35, who is accused of raping a girl under 14 years of age, has been bound over for trial in Lyon County District Court after a preliminary hearing Thursday.
His next court hearing is scheduled at 2 p.m. Oct. 17 before Chief Judge Merlin Wheeler.
Wing is accused of multiple rapes of a girl during a period of time from July 19, 2007, to Aug. 2, 2008. He was charged formally with the rapes on Aug. 22.
The girl was 12 years old when the alleged rapes began; she has since turned 13.
According to records filed in court, the girl said the incidents occurred two or three times per week and involved vaginal penetration with fingers.
The incidents are alleged to have occurred at Wing’s home.

How disgusting! Why did this take so long to come to light? I mean did no one notice something odd in her behavior in the last year while she was being molested? That poor girl, I'll sure be praying for her.

Please, let's keep all the blame focused on the accused and not on the victim(s) in this case. Not every child is capable of defending themself or able to report abuse like this kind of sickness. There are tell-tale signs from this kind of abuse, if the parents, friends, teachers, doctors etc are aware of and are watching for them. I hope the accused does not take this to trial and forces the victim to relive the experiences in front of the world. My heart goes out to the young lady, I hope they are getting her counseling and giving her the support she needs.

The only person to blame in this situation is Chad Wing. HE made the decision to do the drugs. HE is using them as an excuse for what HE did. The mother in this situation works 2 jobs to help provide for her family. She loves her kids as well as his and treats them as her own.
There is NO excuse for what happend and I think Mr. Wing should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Let's leave the blame where it should be and hope for a fast recovery for this poor girl and the rest of this family ! ! !

You must know these people since you said things that were not released as far as I know. If this goes to trial, I am sure this evidence, or lack there of, could be used in Mr. Wings defense. It could lead to a possible mistrial if word gets out that jurors may have had prior knowlege about this case. In other words, all will come out that needs to come out sooner or later. It does however, need to come out in an appropiate place and time, not here.

I really doubt information used by anonymous posters on a public could be construed as grounds for a mistrial, but maybe I am wrong. Either way if this is true I would pay good money to see individuals such as this executed on the court house lawns of America. Child molestation sickens me and should be dealt with by means of extreme prejudice to perhaps deter the mass waves of freaks out there perpetuating this.

I'd join you both, but what we really need to do is see to it that our legislators pass such stringent laws against this sort of crime that perpetrators will never get out of jail. We already know from many, many studies that there is no cure for pedophilia. Why allow them on the streets?

I know Chad and I worked with him back in the day , he was always a standup Guy , worked hard and was always on time , but what he did to that little girl was very sad and will last a life time in the memories of that child. May God truly have mercy on his soul . He is small in statue and when he goes to prison they will make sure he pays for what he did !
