Does he have anything to do with the arrest that took place yesterday afternoon near Fremont Park? I have to say I saw an officer chase a guy in between two houses, caught him and cuffed him. I was at the park with my kid and saw the scuffle. I did want to mention that whoever that officer was did an awesome job of catching that guy, he was pretty fast. I don't have a scanner but I was wondering what all the commotion was if anyone knows. It was about 3:50 pm.

Well what I saw happened in public, and the Gazette has published this in the paper so I would say that it is now PUBLIC business, not just mine. So if you would like to tell everyone else to mind their business out there as well...go right ahead :)

Dollface13 , that was a STUPID comment! Criminals in our city is everybodies business. Sounds to me as if you might have known the guy the police took down, friend of yours?

Bjnemp: The acorn usually doesn't fall far from the tree. Do you remember the Letter to the Editor about two years ago or so from some mope that was upset that the paper had reported about his criminal conduct and the resulting court proceedings in which he actually said that "a person's crimes is his own personal business" and should not be in the paper? I bet that Dollface13 is his relative.

Thanks for the backup everybody..bizarre reply huh? I was just wanting to give that officer a pat on the back. It really was a scene out of a movie. Of course I didn't really want to witness something like that with my toddler present in our neighborhood, but that officer did a great job.
