Lyon County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is a clearinghouse for people 55 and over to engage in meaningful volunteer experiences that will meet critical needs of Lyon County and the community.

The program currently needs volunteers in the following areas:

• Lyon County Senior Patrol with the Lyon County Sheriff Department

• Variety of opportunities in the Emporia School District through YouthFriends

• Readers for North Lyon County Child Development Center
