Liu wins award 2 weeks in a row

ESU sophomore setter Ting Liu won the MIAA Specialist of the Week for the second straight week on Monday.

Liu, who leads the league in assists, had 117 assists last weekend at the Central Missouri Challenge in Warrensburg, Mo. and was also named to the All-tournament team. Ting helped the Hornets to a 3-0 record at the Challenge, where the Hornets didn’t drop a set.

Liu’s 48 assists against Southeast Oklahoma was the best mark in the MIAA this season in a three-game match.
