Trust her

AS A FORMER student of Mrs. Carol Strickland, I have had the opportunity to see her interact with many different types of people. I was always impressed by Mrs. Strickland’s ability to inspire all of her students. I feel like her students, including me, felt motivated because they perceived that Mrs. Strickland cared deeply about their success in school and beyond. This is precisely the passion for people that is desperately needed in the legislature in Topeka.
My only response to opponents of Strickland that characterize her as a big spender who will eagerly give away state money to any program that comes along is that they do not know Carol Strickland. Supporting education, especially in the state of Kansas where so many schools are starved for funding, is not a frivolous position. I trust Carol Strickland with education of our community’s children, an issue with which she is intimately familiar, just as a trust her to make informed decisions on any legislative issue with the people of the Kansas in mind.
As a recipient of a National Teaching Award, Carol Strickland is obviously an incredibly intelligent person and has shown that she is truly devoted to helping her community. I hope that voters who may not have had the honor of getting to know Mrs. Strickland personally trust me when I say that I have the utmost confidence that her integrity and poise make her the perfect representative for the 76th district.
