A LEADER is one who is willing to sacrifice their time, talent and treasures.
I’ve come to realize that Mike Dorcey is a vital resource to our community. He has taken time to volunteer his services toward the Peter Pan Park playground project. I remember when the Boys and Girls club was in Emporia; Mike Dorcey volunteered his time to talk to the youth about his life as a veteran soldier. Mike Dorcey is a loving family man who is dedicated to the Emporia community. I whole-heartedly believe Mike Dorcey will be a valuable asset as our country clerk. He strives for excellence in any endeavor placed before him. Mike truly has the attitude that quitters never win and winners never quit.
