There are many items up for grabs to strike nearly every fancy at the Seventh Annual Main Street Auction Thursday evening. The event also takes advantage of the Halloween season by inviting attendees to dress in costume.
The event will start at 5:30 p.m. at the Granada Theatre in downtown Emporia. The silent auction will start at that time as well as a social hour. The live auction will start at 7 p.m.
“Attendees can enjoy hors d’oeurves from Main Street restaurants and bid on a variety of unique items like sports memorabilia, original artwork from local artists, getaways and so much more,” said Kayla Oney, Main Street executive director. “All funds are used for public improvements in beautiful Downtown Emporia.”
The auction is open to the public. The public is encouraged to dress in costume for Halloween at the event.
